Have you ever spent hours and hours studying, only to flunk a test? Did that make you feel stupid? Did you like feeling like that? No, of course not.

As a parent, does this fit your child? Does it hurt your heart when your child comes home from school in tears, or worse, gives up? Do you get frustrated with your child? Or the school system?

If any of these questions apply to you, then you are in the right place to find change. There is a program that will make learning a whole new experience.

Here are the 4 biggest myths about learning that will never get you the results you want:

1. The first is that you must teach TO your child's preferred learning style, because schools who teach TO every child's learning style produce better results. (This statement is so mis-leading that a recent article in the Washington Post said the theory of teaching to multiple intelligences was just that – a theory, and not working in the real world at all).

2. The second is that kids with low grades are lazy and unmotivated and simply do not take tests well. This is not only an over generalization, but it is an insult to a great many struggling students.

3. The third is that kids who cannot sit still and pay attention most likely have attention deficit disorders of some kind. (Believe me, this is a biggy!) ADD or ADHD can very often be something else in disguise.

4. The fourth is that some kids who struggle in school simply don't like to read, or spell, or do math, etc. (This is one of the worst. It's only when children constantly experience failure that they don't want to read or do their schoolwork).

Colin Rose, best-selling author of Accelerated Learning for the 21st Century says, "Once in a great while, a new book appears that makes a major contribution to our understanding of how children learn... and it honestly has the ability to change every child's life."

The book he's referring to is authored by Pat Wyman. She's a best-selling author, university instructor, learning and reading specialist, who has who has already helped over 200,000 students get the A's and B's they deserve. She is a member of The Society for Neuroscience, lectures on learning and the brain, and her "insider" information has been featured on radio and T.V. and appeared in national publications like Family Circle Magazine, Woman's World, and in a cover story with her learning styles information in Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. Family Magazine.
She is also a parent with two children; a daughter who's nearly finished medical school and a son who has recently graduated from college. She's been working with parents, teachers and children for nearly 30 years. (And yes, her children used many of secrets included in her book.)

If you are ready for your children's grades to soar, please Check this out to learn more

Other Articles of Interest

Science Fair Projects
Fun, Games and Math
School Help - Learning Spanish
Do You Have a Bullying Problem?
Peace in the Home
Pumpkin Painting
Restaurant Cooking at Home
Words, Words, Words
